Our Story
2014
Founded
ZETA was founded by Mike Mackison, a Scottish Maths teacher who began creating his own resources to better support his students.
Based on his experience teaching in Scotland, Mike began developing resources that better matched the realities of classroom practice. Originally created for his own pupils, the materials are now used by teachers across the country.
2017
From the Classroom to Print
ZETA MATHS took a major leap forward with the publication of our first physical resource: the original Algebra Textbook. This milestone marked our transition from creating classroom homework to publishing professional,high-quality printed books.
2020
Empowering Schools with Subscriptions
Recognising the budget challenges faced by the education sector, ZETA launched its dedicated School eBook Subscription.
This model allows schools, clusters, and councils to access our full digital library of SQA resources at a highly cost-effective rate - ensuring that high-quality education remains accessible to every student.
2026
Launching Primary & Revision
This year, we are broadening our support for Scottish students. We are introducing ZETA PRIMARY - a full suite of CfE resources, including textbooks and homework booklets, to support foundational numeracy.
Simultaneously, we are launching ZETA REVISION, providing targeted exam preparation tools for the SQA Senior Phase to help students achieve their best potential.
